1. Initial meetings - Determining the needs and wants of the client
2. Review of plans - Avoiding costly mistakes by catching errors in the drawing phase
3. Space planning - Determining optimum room sizes and layouts
4. Layout of floor plan - Placement of existing furniture and listinf of new pieces needed
5. Lighting consultation - General and accent lighting
6. Design - Creating special architectural elements, cabinetry, etc.
7. Selection of interior finishes - Including flooring, paint, stains, wallcovering and laminates
8. Selection of exterior finishes - Including roofing, paint, stucco color, stone or brick
9. Selection of soft goods - Including furniture, fabrics, art, accessories and window coverings
10. Coordination of subcontractors
11. Supervision of installations
12. Final walk-through - Including punch list
